What is EVOLVE??? Wednesdays 6:30-8:00 Evolve has a bad connotation due to Darwin’s theory of evolution. The real reason for using this word for our Wednesday night worship service is due to its definition. evolve - to develop something gradually, often into something more complex or advanced, or undergo such development Encarta® World English Dictionary © That’s our goal. For us as believers to gradually become more like Christ. This is called sanctification which is the process of being made into the likeness of Jesus. Wednesday nights are to examine God’s Word and compare our lives to its perfect precepts. Then the hard part of applying God’s Word into our everyday life takes place when we leave. We start out the night by magnifying our God in music, then we have a message from His Word. Finally, we huddle up in small groups to apply the message of God’s Word to our lives.
We meet in the youth room (upstairs gym) on Wednesdays from 6:30-8p.
